JHoof N Paw Return Policy

All sales are final.
Because our kits are used for biological sampling, we can’t accept physical returns for health, safety, and regulatory reasons. This also helps us reduce waste and packaging miles. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep animals (and the planet) healthy. 💚

What we happily do instead

We’ll always make it right if something’s wrong:

  • Damaged or missing items on arrival
    Snap a quick photo of the shipping box and contents and email support@hoofnpawlabs.com within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll replace the affected items at no cost.

  • Lost in transit
    If tracking stalls or a package is marked delivered but you can’t find it, contact us within 7 days. We’ll investigate with the carrier and reship when appropriate.

  • Order mistake (address, quantity, add-ons)
    Message us before your order ships and we’ll update or cancel for a full refund. After shipment, we can’t recall kits, but we’ll help with a discounted reship if needed.

Why we don’t accept returns

  • Health & safety: Once a kit leaves our facility, it’s considered potentially biohazardous and can’t be restocked.

  • Integrity: Kits and components must remain sealed and uncontaminated to ensure accurate testing.

  • Sustainability: Fewer reverse shipments = fewer emissions and less waste.

Non-returnable items (for everyone’s safety)

All test kits and components, including biodegradable sample bags, specimen sleeves, wood scoops, and mailers are final sale once shipped.

Cancellations & changes

  • Before shipment: free cancellation or change—no problem.

  • After shipment: orders are final, but we’ll help with a discounted replacement if something went sideways.

Undeliverable or refused packages

If a package is returned to us by the carrier, we can reship to a corrected address (reship fee applies). We cannot accept returns for refund.
